I was thinking like 1/3 of a standard shield size. It can move quickly and is very powerful. So you're basically a baseball catcher trying to stop projectiles.
Could make two variants... one that moves fast (aka Dark theme), smaller shield, moves fast, the other more traditional Aegis like.

The recharge time on some of those is pretty frustrating. So many ways you can toy with that. My first thought was that it could easily get OP since the shield could basically act like a wall. But that could also be pretty fun if the shield was 1/3 size of a normal one. Except it would me more of a...

I believe the Omega was added to this map by association anyway... I think I have my server issues fixed. It tested fine locally. I want to verify it on the server though, and there's people on.
Snarf, I'll check the code in right now.

I still think we should have two versions, one with the spawn points and one without.

So from the other thread.... I am thinking it'd be cool to have a shield tank (Aegis, Crusader, Paladin) type that has a feature that if its being linked the shield recharges without being dropped... could be a fun defensive vehicle, I am not sure the shield would be quite as strong as the turtle, b...

Happy to remove the Omega. Its not really a link vehicle... its useful to help stage a comeback as it can help decimate a link train, but as Snarf points out if you let the other team run wild with it overruns the map. And as far as big tank, the Map has the Odin... which can take a node quickly but...

Yeah I need to fix the shield alt-fire, issues on Dedicated server. I hope to have time this weekend to work on it.

They shouldn't fly imo
And we can fix the tether to not lock on enemy vehicles..but not sure, its kind of a fun thing.

The do have the spin thing which kills players on foot which is fun.

Yep. My problem is on dedicated only works fine with Listen server, even on the remote client, which is strange...since usually any replication stuff shows up there.... And Yeahhh I think having a Helix with that capability would be cool. We probably need to change the skins if we make a spawn capab...
