Re: Hospitaler 3.0

Ok I updated it I think those issues are fixed on the server.

Re: Misc Map Changes Thread..for little glitches and annoyances...

He already nerfed the momentum once before didn't he? It's not very strong now as it is, nowhere near that of the pulse traitor. Yes its quite weak, its there but not much, not like Vampire or Pulse Traitor. I don't think that needs changed. I think just smaller tweak, reduce/cap the heal on the al...

Re: Hospitaler 3.0

Its on the server.
There's two minor bugs:
- Link HUD displays when beam hits enemies.
- The Shield Alt-Fire heals even if it does not actually do damage, it should only heal when somethign is actually hurt. (This might make it OP with shield gunners, but I'll fix it tomorrow).

Re: Misc Map Changes Thread..for little glitches and annoyances...

Is alt fire supposed to also do the manta splat? Seems like a bug to me, like AltFire() was overridden, but then calls super.AltFire() so does both attacks. Yes, I think when we were first playing, since it was a flying manta it didn't do that, but once the flying was set back to a Manta, there wer...

Re: Hospitaler 3.0

Awesome.

This is definitely one vehicle that players on the forum will benefit from, since there's quite a bit of capability built in, and might not be obvious.. in fact most don't even know seats 7/8 have twin beams!

Re: Shield Tank with link...

I was thinking like 1/3 of a standard shield size. It can move quickly and is very powerful. So you're basically a baseball catcher trying to stop projectiles.
Could make two variants... one that moves fast (aka Dark theme), smaller shield, moves fast, the other more traditional Aegis like.

Things to do: Test HospitalerV3 on Server Remove Omega from Torlan-LinkerMadness FireTank Muzzle flashes remove/reduce Predator Hitbox expand a bit. Lamprey Nerf, increase time on secondary fire interval, reduce healing rate - its still IMO too OP. Add fire extra damage to Vampire tank (since we hav...

Re: Shield Tank with link...

The recharge time on some of those is pretty frustrating. So many ways you can toy with that. My first thought was that it could easily get OP since the shield could basically act like a wall. But that could also be pretty fun if the shield was 1/3 size of a normal one. Except it would me more of a...

Re: Torlan-LinkerMadness

I believe the Omega was added to this map by association anyway... Like this map was literally just a way to test the new link tanks and the Omega was thrown in because we happened to be nerfing it at the time. Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner! So I think the consensus is to remove the Omega. I'll pu...

Re: Hospitaler 3.0

I think I have my server issues fixed. It tested fine locally. I want to verify it on the server though, and there's people on.
Snarf, I'll check the code in right now.

I still think we should have two versions, one with the spawn points and one without.
