Without the radar scope rifle, you couldn't tell anyone was up there. It wasn't a flaw in the map, it was on purpose. Yeah Facing Worlds is such a legendary map... too bad it'd never work with onslaught. I only see it played on VCTF.

I've seen an ONS version, basically one node in the center and a node behind each core. Might be fun to put it on the server...even though its not great, but it'd be fun sniper map

One developer made most of those maps. It looks like they put an incredible amount of work into the maps, missions, XP, upgrades etc. Yes, I looked a few. Tons of work. And really shows what a great system UT2004 was especially 20 years ago. I started mostly playing ONS on DW .... then moved to Omn...
