Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.

Dude, that's not a run-on sentence. Stop exposing the ineptitude of the U.S. educational system. Oops, I what I meant was, "stop make U S look bad on learn stuff. MAGA!" Hard to infer intent or emotion in your comment, but since you usually like to denigrate my comments at every turn I’ll...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.

There are no holy cows in UT/ONS server management, content-wise. Question everything periodically, prune often, improve where and when you can as best as your evolving theoretical understanding of ONS' design allows you to, work with others where it makes sense to do so, and try to have some fun i...

Re: Map comebacks... some thoughts..

I wonder if that contributes to people liking things that are flyer light like Minus-TMU, and DJY? I recently edit AJY to attempt more power at the cores, less at 3/9. Might be worth an experiment to create a AJY version with some extremes... even more at the cores/primaries, and less in the middle...

It is… because the core vehicles on Djunk suck except the mino and hammerheads. All it takes for a comeback on TLM is for the link tanks to work together at the primary while everyone else shoots the secondaries.

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.

I'm all for admins forcing maps. The repetition is getting ridiculous to many. Forcing maps is way better than implementing "map packs". Map packs smacks of "book burning" to me. And reducing choice is EVIL. Weird analogy... but laissez-faire map voting is not working out well, ...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.

Admins forcing maps from time to time is fine and probably necessary to retain the better players. If it sheds some stains in the process, so be it. I like most our maps including Randomizers with few exceptions, and also get tired of the same ones repeatedly, but I still don't get why snarf hates s...

I seem to remember a post from him somewhere in here a while back saying he was having some personal issues that would likely prevent him from playing much for a while? Hope he's OK.

Re: Misc Map Changes Thread..for little glitches and annoyances...

Those type of changes meant to even the gap between players like sanka and phariz only hurt the server in the long run. There is no point improving your aim when you get punished for doing so. Same is true for wall dodge. It was rewarded, now it will mean nothing. I tried helping that fool by expla...

Re: JunkYard Randomizer Changes..

Good moves pooty! I agree with Rhamp that typically the core should have the most powerful vehicles on most maps to allow for some chance of a comeback. Exceptions are one or two reward vehicles at a center node. Obviously more prevalent to do this sort of setup on Randomizers.
