Re: Misc Map Changes Thread..for little glitches and annoyances...
FWIW, the imbalance on that Dria game was mostly from late joins. For a large map, it's nice having available fliers.

Re: Map Packs
I don’t care one way or the other. But now that the map rotation reset has been increased to 11, and the early birds like Dognuts and Ankeedo always plow thru the community favs like Ajunk and MTMU KitchenSink, we’re already getting more play on other maps. That said, I do like those popular maps, ...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.
lol. I have to be the mean forum admin. And we know you love it! After all, this whole thread is really about your slow descent into authoritarianism. What I've found is the more complex maps don't do well either. The populace favors simple flat, drive in a tank style maps. This is true but too sim...

Dude, that's not a run-on sentence. Stop exposing the ineptitude of the U.S. educational system. Oops, I what I meant was, "stop make U S look bad on learn stuff. MAGA!" Hard to infer intent or emotion in your comment, but since you usually like to denigrate my comments at every turn I’ll...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.
There are no holy cows in UT/ONS server management, content-wise. Question everything periodically, prune often, improve where and when you can as best as your evolving theoretical understanding of ONS' design allows you to, work with others where it makes sense to do so, and try to have some fun i...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.
So we get newer maps with potential and they don't get any time because we just want to repeat, repeat. Many newer map miss the nuance of what made Omni great: a field of comparable vehicles with one or two power vehicles of sufficient strength to possibly turn the game play. New maps go to one of ...

Re: Admin's Choice, map forcing.
Aside from the need for testing, I'd request that you limit this to two or three times per week and preferably at least choose a second-place option that has significant votes. While you're trying to couch this is terms of providing variety for everyone, I read this as, "I don't want to play wi...

Re: Damage Reductions...
This was essentially the only counter to the Starbolt as it moves too quickly to be able to consistently hit with a vehicle due to ping. It did not get nerfed enough to warrant this, on top of having more health now. Thoughts here? It was set at *2 (double) for Shock, Avirl, LG. Perhaps it should b...
