Wonder if its one of the vehicles? You mentioned Mechs had issues... And any warnings/errors in the logs? I can't test Mac anymore, the more recent updates of MacOS won't let UT2004 run.... For everything else serious I do (graphic design, 3D rendering and video editing) the Mac vastly outperforms. ...

I have the same problem, Yeahhhh(etc). I believe you run Unreal on an older Mac, as do I. There is something in the code that is alien to our creaky old OS's. (10.6.8 here.) There's nothing in the code that should mess with the client. It simply replaces vehicle classes in the factories on the map ...

It can though depending... I've seen it drop with vehicles, especially if they have heavy Tick() function and certain emitters/ dynamic light.
Based on the other thread its too many triangles in the meshes on that map.

Any Anti portals? Seems like the Walls (Big H) in the middle could use those.
Maybe replace those heavy meshes with something similar?
And as you mention maybe set cull distance lower.
On the plus side, I thought it was a pretty enjoyable map and nice looking.
