Re: Are you a rage-quitter?
I won't sandbag as I hate it when others do it, but I'll leave if the team is shit and I've had a bad day already. This game, and the server, are my little bar after work to decompress. I've dealt with idiots who shouldn't be allowed to breed all day so I don't want to come here and have to deal wit...
Re: Stats DB
You'd have to ask pooty which mutators are running, but it's probably not an easy fix. And yeah, you should have definitely gotten points from killing half a core. Last night on TorlanMechs I noticed some players were getting 3+ points for killing other mechs and some were only getting 1 point per....

Re: Why UT2004 over UT3?
This was the first non-Call of Duty game I played at the time and slowly weened off CoD to this, so I missed 3. When I lived in Hawai'i, I mentioned playing this and he said he still had his '99 version. I used to play them from time to time. Still have the 99 version but have not loaded it on this ...

Re: Alder Lake
Yeah, I've played aroudn with MSI Afterburner. Now that I am on a custom loop, I've found I can push the RX480 to about 1500Mhz (stock is 1300) and the memory from 2000 to 2175. I also had Radeon set to push the GPU, but have switched it to the CPU to see if I get any less glitches.

Re: Alder Lake
I had read abut disabling SMT before. I know I tired it before, but I cannot remember if I disabled it on this last fresh reload. I just figured it was because my RX480 is old as hell and has to work much harder to keep....lol

Re: Alder Lake
just curious, but when I am running statistics while on the server, I see my GPU getting hit much harder than my CPU. Like 80-100% vs 20%. Now, I understand I have a CPU that does not have built in graphics (5950x), but shouldn't the CPU still be getting harder than that if what you say is true?

Re: I propose a new rule:
If you continue to believe that spamming the core when it's not available, or even going to be available soon, is trategy in a 17 yr old game with few players, then be prepared to play on your own. It clears the server. Who wants to play a game where you can't even leave your own core? The Xexx move...

Re: CSMech 1.0
Definitely a fun time was had. Maybe make it the crash map? I think others have already put enough input. The flack one is crazy op. Even I was wiping the other team up with one.
