OMGosh, some jackass chose a 2-byte short integer instead of a long integer. Had guys trying to use 4-byte floats once. Ripped that bitch code out and replaced all their floats with doubles, LOL

Re: Seriously enyo, this admin shit is going to your head

... I know a few are glad that I am no longer playing on OMNI ... I missed you Termi. And I noticed you had not been playing in a while and wished you would be back. There's only one Termi and you outshine everyone else with your creative unorthodox tactics. Who else can piss Spoon and me off on Ba...

Re: server tick rate

... The HoC server is set to 100 tick rate, ... Side note about tick rates: A tick is a single beat of the operating system clock. On our target OS at work, the default tick rate is 60 Hz. Meaning you could get 1/60 second (16.7 millisecond) granularity for context switches between threads. Our app...

Re: Start a "competetive" 5v5 Omni server?

Not trying to steal the thread, but another idea is dedicated maps at specific times during the day. Do a signup sheet for who wants what maps at what times. All outside the primetime block of 1900 CDT to 2300. Wanna get your Nevermore Fix and more than 5 people signed up for 1500 on a Sunday aftern...

Re: Start a "competetive" 5v5 Omni server?

You don't even need a 2nd server to do this. Just pick a time slot outside the primetime. Primetime that I can tell is a 4 hour block from 1900 CDT to 2300. Saturday or Sundays during the day could work.

Re: I'm bored

... There is one unique crowd set left which are those that play MBadgerMU early around 7:30 ET. That's also a different style which is a lot of fun. Try going 1v1 against Mclovin. The games are very tight and you're not allowed a single mistake. But you have to play it a few times to understand th...

Re: Seriously enyo, this admin shit is going to your head

I hate it when I build the first node at the start of a match and Xexx comes and kills me. I am very angry, I yell obscenities ... On MTMU maps on your right primary that's called the Xexx Maneuver. It's very effective. I learned to keep a heads-up when building that node and a quick shift to the s...
