Re: ONS-HomeSweetHome Randomizer
And the fixes often feel like throwing spaghetti at the walls rather than thoughtfulness towards balancing it. Nature of Randomizer maps. They are supposed to be fun, keep you on your toes as far as strategy... but when there's things like KitchenSink, its a free for all. Compare to TMU almost all ...

Re: ONS-HomeSweetHome Randomizer
V6 on the server. I know there was some call to remove this, but I think the changes made should help.

Re: Updated Server Rule Excessive Cheating Accusations
Exactly. When I was practicing often, I could get where I could hit small targets (1" Circle, 2" Square, etc..) on the silhouette targets, pretty consistently, but it takes lots of practice (and ammo!). Even doing some reload drills, 3 mags changes from holster, 2 rounds each all on target...

Re: Map Development Process
So before we get into a debate on proper forum grammar... Sounds good, but there are some things that can only really be tested in actual play. Also, it'll be difficult to come up with an objective criteria that everyone can agree on for a map to meet in order to be put in general play Yes 100%. I t...

Re: Random Server Crashes..
Yeah probably good to update CM to the latest. And probalby have the LAA version too. But yes need to back up the original, as NFO does the install, but I think we can ftp over the ucc.exe. Snarf, anything we need to do for CM upgrade. I won't have much time today to do it -- I don't want to just pu...

Re: People who audio chat: Stop bossing people around
Yes its a team game. The other night playing minus with no comms, our team got asswhupped, because of it. No comms all going to 8 then 9 and ignoring 6 cutoff and big loss. And no there's no server rule on it so you can play how you want but better to win as a team. Its how you beat the very good DM...

Re: 64-Bit as a client....
Thanks Snarf, I will try that out.
I already have some of it set (keepalive is good, and cpu affinity so it doesn't context switch)
I have a 1080 GTX, and i7 (6600 skylake) so even though its now "old" should be beastly enough to handle UT2004.

Re: Updated Server Rule Excessive Cheating Accusations
Let me also add, and this goes for Admins as well (we all get frustrated). Excessive cheating accusatioins in game will result in admins having to step in and mute, llama or kick if its too excessive. We aren't gonna go overboard, so a few utterances of frustration are fine, but long rants, constant...

64-Bit as a client....
Making a thread to discuss 64-bit as client so you can access more memory. My experience is the 32-bit outperforms 64-bit on my machine by a good margin. Even playing with things like Reduce Mouse Lag (which IMO should always be off). My fps on 32 bit locally is 600+, online on a low impact map 200-...
