People like to say some use "macros" to shock combo... but I can't see a way to do that unless you stand completely still. A Macro is just a list of Commands / Key Presses that run when you press a key, so if you move at all it's pointless unless you can somehow program it to move your mouse as you move a very specific way (which after looking I can't find how to program mouse movement in the Logitech software anyway). This also doesn't take into account the distance the player would have to be for the exact macro to work in the exact situation;
If anyone has written macros to do complex shock combos they spent a lot of time on it... and should let me know how they did it ;)
You could write macros for dodging, but it gets really awkward / not really any advantage to it... It'd be similar to that strafe movement lock they put in the later games where you only have to press a single button to dodge.

Code: Select all

cm cmdonplayer get input KEY
which will return the key's value to their console.
So you'd have to already know which key it was bound to (unless there is something that logs all inputed keys from every player?), or play a long guessing game from my understanding lol. Or maybe there's code that grabs all known key input values from a player?

I don't think we are running ClanManager....not sure if other servers (eg. CEONSS, DW or RMD is)

The only other server I ever play on anymore is HoC, which is owned and operated by Carpe_Diem, whos is still technically an OMNI admin. So, why would I care exactly if he can see my keybind, or any other admin on this server for that matter? He and the other original OMNI admins are the ones that recommended keybinding the admin login/logout to save time.

Like McLovin said, time is of the essence and I don't want to bother typing all that shit to log in every time I gotta kick an idle player or some douche that won't follow the rules, which is all too often.

That is just one example which is legitimate. There are other ways like DLL injection which don't even need admin access. Saving your credentials in plain text is fucking retarded.

Well if they can read memory/file on my local PC...doesn't really matter does it? I mean sure an encrypted password on disk would be helpful, but if they had access to my C:\ then I'd have (Xexx's) bit-coin miners and (Provert's) porn hosting running... ;)
