utstats displaying player names problem?

Post by McLovin »

Image

Sometimes the player names are not showing properly.

Player 10 is me and Player 4 is Fragster.

I think this was asked before, but I don't remember the response.

Not sure why, but play again and it will be fixed. I was Player 8 yesterday but I'm back as sn)o(rf today.

It seems to be intermittent. It doesn't happen all the time, only some of the time.

My experience is that when you Spectate a game and then Join it assigns you a number. If you Disconnect and then Join the stats will show your real user name.

I think inifinitecat is correct, has something with going from spec to joining, and when you do it. Not sure the exact circumstances though, doesn't happen all the time going from spec to join it seems.
