I don't know if you've considered it already, but on the Freon/TAM servers they have a mutator that allows placing links as buttons in the esc menu. You can make the button say what you want, with colored text if you want, while pointing toward a URL. I have the standard and XV versions, but I'm not sure what the difference is. It could point toward the forums and the donation page.
