If this map ever gets an update here are a couple things I'd vote in favor of:
Updated lockers with full link guns
Reduce amount of flyers to minimal (manta only) or none
Put blocking volumes on the hills on either side of the core areas
It looks like this map was made for each node area to be attacked from its entrance, especially the core. Having flyers just bypass everything kind of kills the terrain/building concept. I think with this stuff then you can have your good ol' western shootout in the main street leading up to the core.

I don't agree. I vote to leave it as is. I don't want one more DM or "tank" map.
