TESTPLAY Maps...new potential maps, feedback wanted.

So I added three maps, today. These are as I found them.
ONS-Amalthea_RC1-TESTPLAY.ut2
ONS-AratheiaBeta6-TESTPLAY.ut2
ONS-DoubleSlap-V3-TESTPLAY.ut2

Lets give them a play or two and see if they are worth editing/randomizing... or if they are garbage. ;)

I played AratheiaBeta6 this morning. I admin forced it so it will still be in the rotation.

The fake flyer static meshes are kinda weird, vehicles you cant use heh.

The middle row of nodes seems pointless. The middle node in the middle row is the least accessible. When you do get it, you receive ... a bender and scorpion? :lol: I guess the middle row gives you a locked path to their primaries. I can see the middle row being ignored though. The middle node should give you something good.

Weapon lockers are hit or miss. One of the primary nodes has a standalone lightning gun spawn on top, but then the weapon lockers also have lightning gun? And no shock wtf :lol:

It's a good size, not too big.

AratheiaBeta6 - Notes
- Full up Weapon lockers.
- Vehicle Updates, some in place of the cool looking, nothing doing vehicles.
- More vehicles at the core
- Feels like there should be a deemer and/or painter somewhere.
- Nuke tank might be fun

There is a teleporter on AratheiaBeta6 at 4/8 which is pretty annoying and useless. It teleports you far away from 4/8 but there is nothing there and no teleporter back.

Going to work on Aratheia next. I think I am going to change the name somehow so its more distinctive than the other one Amalethea. Suggestions?
This one will get a vehicle update, more tanks/trucks/badger and a few more flyers of the non-stock variety... goal will be a mix of flyers to ground with the idea flyers get there, ground vehilces hold the nodes. This one has the added twist that some of the nodes are "inside" buildings so you might have to get out of your tank/flyer.

Amalethea is the darker map with the steep hills/towers.

Aratheia is the desert/brown terrain with buildings and ladder node setup. "NEG decided to create a giant military and industrial complex on the planet that has been just conquered. Make use of the military part of the complex to crush your enemies! "
So I renamed it to AratheiaC)o(mplex-V1 for the next edit, so hopefully that differentiates it enough.

Thoughts on DoubleSlap? Seems pretty decent as is, not sure if I'd make any changes to it?

I like doubleslap a lot. It's hard to get the tank tards to vote for it though. I was sad it crashed last night.
