The Threewave CTF grapple from Quake 1

I haven't been able to play since this was added, but how is it different from the translocator shock rifle from GritNights? The one that teleports you to where you fire it?

It's pretty much the same as the grapple in this video. https://youtu.be/fFcmUFtFGT0 Snarf did a great job on it. Watch Candylick use it when he is on. He is really good at it. For me, I was hoping the range would be infinite, plus the aim for me when I used it was sort of off. It takes a bit to get used to. It would be fun if you could, while sitting in a vehicle, grapple yourself and the entire vehicle. LOL

But I'm bored with it now. Haha!

It's quicker. You don't disappear while in use. I watched Anon get sniped mid-air a couple of times.

It's there if a mapper wants it to add to the map specifically.

Perfect. I think there's few maps were it would be fun.... HSH for example.

I think is much better than teleport gun especially with limited uses. Putting it at a pickup vs. weapon locker would work too. Its really a powerup.
