Unrelated, but man, the developers of this game sure made the sound of hitting a locked node loud enough didn't they?Enyo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 9:14 amNice work snarf!
I didn't experience any noticeable lag at all. And hit sounds seemed to work consistently now too. Hit sounds on the nodes kinda freaked me out a little... is there a way to make the node hit sounds different from hitting enemies?

Re: UTComp
You're kind of being a dick hitting a locked node repeatedly. Maybe it was to annoy you into stopping?

Re: UTComp
I got kicked twice yesterday while trying to adjust my bright skins and force models and one time was even in spec. Maybe give people a little more time to adjust settings. And if this happens in game to someone else, please don't accuse them of bailing or whatever since this is a recent addition to the server - more players might adjust settings so they might get kicked for timeout as I did when adjusting settings. It really doesn't give you enough time before kicked. It wouldn't be a big deal if you could have unlimited time in spec to adjust settings.

Re: UTComp
I'm not sure how to fix that with UTComp. The menu is all client-side so it doesn't send any updates to the server, so the server thinks you are idle (technically you are) and kicks you.
Pooty, can we increase the idle timeout so players have more time to play with the menus?

Re: UTComp
New version! Download here UTCompOmni_1.29.zip
Changes
- Add 'SetPreferredExit' command (from ONSPlus) for vehicles
- Make vehicle radar colors configurable
- fix some log spamming when opening the map/radar
To use SetPreferredExit, you'll need to bind a key to it and combine with the use command, e.g.
in User.ini -
This would make 'E' exit to the right and 'Q' exit to the left.
Vehicle radar colors can be configured in UTCompOmni.ini file
Here are the defaults:

Re: UTComp
MaxIdleTime is 45. I'll set it to 180 (3 minutes), for now, lets see how that plays.
1.29 is on the server.
