So there was talk of changing the crash map from FF to something else...
I had suggested Spambox (Spambox TMU) and some one else suggested MB.

Thoughts? We almost never want to play FF (its silly once you get the OMFG gun)... and putting in a more popular/fun map could be better

I would pick a map that can be played the quick without OT rounds. I think Spambox could be one of those.

It's pretty good the way it is. We vote and the server crashes. FF is a short game and people re-vote. Spambox can drag on sometimes.

If you want to make the rest of the server happy just make it MTMU

Leave it as FF... we hardly ever play it on a crash anyhow by forcing the voted map, and most players I think would still prefer we force the map that got voted regardless of what the crash map is. If people really WANTED to play the crash map, they'd vote for it.

Leave it alone is my vote.

X4 on leave it. Or mod the map so the cores are inaccessible, load weaponless scorpions and we can play bumper cars until a new map gets called up.

A couple people suggested changing it to a popular map that people want to play, mostly for the case when there's no admin on you're stuck playing FF (which isn't much fun imo)....

So maybe I pick either popular map (MB, TAL, etc.) OR
I pick something new (Ganja, Guitar) or some of the less played maps and just let them get played.

However, you can VOTE, and 33% of players map voting will trigger a map vote...

I'm just going to kick and scream until I get a bumper car map. I got a new laptop, I'll see if I can get the editor on that and mess with something.

In the editor there is this hidden car that has no weapons 'ONSGenericSD'. That should be the bumper car.

Interesting. What does it look like? Some of us would mess with this on 2fast and the tarantula proved to be the best handling for it.
