I sent Carpe Diem a message on the HoC forum asking if we can use some of their Zounds. They have hundreds of sounds. I haven't heard back yet but it would save a lot of time tracking them down ourselves.

They have the 'woody' sound which I found in the movie short circuit and recreated myself. I also recreated their 'hacker' sound from the movie hackers.

We also could use volunteers to review some of Colbye's videos for good sound clips from Omni personalities.
I'd love to get Shadow's "Do you want to Ween"? Smoker was often good for some too.
We also need Leeeeroy Jenkins!

I may try to record a few from in Game (NVidia recorder allows to record 3 mins back, so its easy to capture a good one).

A few funny ones from Leon would be fun too. But we would need Leon's consent to use anything since he is an active player. Those other guys have left the building so long ago, there really isn't any way to contact them for their permission.

Some fun ones from BeetChucker would be good too. Back when he did his impressions from Family Guy, etc. Back when he was funny Beet and not grumpy beet like he is now, LOL

Should I add a disclaimer to the server rules that if you use voice you may be recorded and used for our amusement?

A lot of the games get recorded and some are posted to youtube. It's probably not needed. I remember hearing Joe randomly bitching in Tater's frag videos.

Probably a good idea just in case. (of what I don't know)

Side note... I've wondered about people communicating illegal shit via chat. Like what if someone organized some terrorist acts or drug trade or whatever through a UT server and communicated only through voice chat. Would it be traceable in any way? I'm sure the text chat logs could, but the voice? I thought of this a while back because one night in another server a bunch of the guys were sharing their interests in weird-ass anime porn and toys and I got creeped out and started thinking "holy shit what if pedos used games like these to communicate?"
