Does anyone know what causes this anomaly in some maps?
I've had this show up in some maps I've edited.

Where does this Anomaly come from?

I believe that is 'ONSHoverBikeHoverDust' that you are seeing. I have no idea why it spawned there like that.

Is it there in the map editor? You can turn on Realtime Preview (little joystick icon in the view port windows) and see if it shows up

How can I identify it if it shows up?
I want to remove it from the map.

I don't see it in the editor Realtime Preview it only appears in the games off line Instant Action.

maybe there is something hidden in the editor? Like what happened here?

Another thing to try is to use the 'search for actors' menu item. They are all in that list box, so if it's something in the editor it's one of those items.

That is definitely 'ONSHoverBikeHoverDust' emitter you are seeing. I believe it's only really spawned by the ONSHoverBike (aka Manta) itself. It might be a bad vehicle factory. Try removing the ONSVehicleFactory items that spawn Mantas and see if it goes away.

Also it might be an Actor (emitter) that doesn't have a Mesh...so it doesn't show up in the editor -- it should show up in the dynamic view. You could try lassoing (left MB and ctrl I think) the area and see if there's anything.

I have seen at least one occasion where the editor just glitches...in AratheiaComplex there were some invisible walls/volumes. Absolutely nothing on the map in the editor, but you couldn't walk/drive/shoot through an area. I had to rebuild the map with some different "cuts" (not even sure what that means) and it fixed it.
