Most of the time I allow my OCD to get the better of me. You guys got this. The main focus, which got away from me was to point out the files being different. Sorry that it traveled into a whole other topic.

I reinstalled UT and for some reason U_FlareRaptor.u was very slow to download despite being on the redirect. I checked both MD5s and they're the same so not sure what happened.

Its probably a case thing. Its probably in a map like U_Flareraptor.u since Windows doesn't care about case in the file names but, the redirect is linux I believe to the file names won't match so it downloads from server.
Do you remember what map?

The map was ONS-MinusBadgerMeUp-Beta23, but it was my first time joining on the fresh install.

For the record, I see the same thing with U_Flareraptor on linux. It takes as long to download as everything else combined. Given how often I have to flush my cache, it's very frustrating.

For me, the map doesn't matter. Whenever the flare raptor is downloaded, it takes forever.
