How to get your bots in the game.

I hate to give all my secrets away, but this one is for people who play at off-peak times, ea, 1x1 matches, and have bots on their team.

You have to check your bots to make sure they are not idle. Bots often get stuck in your core or at a node, jumping in and out of the same vehicle. You have to get them moving and working for you. Aggressive bots are a rarity, and lazy bots are the most common type you'll get.

1. Take them for a ride to the next node.
2. Shoot at them to knock them around, especially to get them out of the core.

You can use v4 to send commands to the bots. While I've done this, I prefer not to do it.

Fragster says you can command the bots with voice commands, but I've never seen it work.

Honk horn to get them to jump in vehicle
Defend command works surprisingly well with turrets
Cover Me command gets them to help you link (usually)
Hold Position command works (they hold where you are standing at time of giving command)
They’re insane in laser turrets

A lot of our maps don't have any path nodes at all (Pooty! ), so bots do nothing.

True. If there's path nodes there already, I'll usually edit a few and update them.

If they aren't there, I figured it wasn't worth hours of time for bots...

Please leave the bots alone. It's taken me years to figure out what they do and don't do. LOL
