Chipmunk voice changers
Back in the old days on the old server, in the time of Carpe and "Stick-up-his-ass-Lagzilla", somebody for a brief time was using a chipmunk voice changer. I thought it was the most hilarious thing I ever heard. They shut it down quickly and forbode it, said it was too distracting. I think it would be funner than zounds. LOL

Yeah I remember Darth Vader and other ones like that.
For a while I had an avatar that made me look like Brian from Family Guy. I think only I could see it though.
Maybe this can re-ignite a discussion about custom avatars?

I don't know how they do it in real-time. To me, you would have to sample the entire voice snippet and then frequency-shift the entire sample, then playback. But I'm pretty sure it was real-time playback.
I am excited about some of the new AI chatbot tools that claim to be able to playback with anyone's voice.
