I had a new version I was working on that I dropped. Instead of rockets it was going to have link/healing.

I can make it more maneuverable but it was previously nerfed to what it is now. It used to feel like styrofoam but now it's heavier feeling, the consequence being it's harder to maneuver. Put it back I guess?

I have a lot of stuff going on atm so it might be a bit before I have updates.

Too me it feels "lighter" meaning it feels way too easy to "oversteer".. trying to get the pickup over a tank takes more than a few tries.
I think it could be slower so you could be more precise... and it doesn't need to be manuverable for air combat..its a flying tank mostly.

Do you have time to upload it to our github? I could probably take a poke at it...

Ok, I added the source for the CS version of the AP package to our github.

I didn't bother with uploading the alternate 'medivac' version I was working on because it was just started and really just a copy of the dropship.

You will need the original AP vehicle package installed to build this package. It depends on all the content,meshes,sounds,etc. I don't have any build scripts ready yet so you'll just have to copy the folder to your ut2004 folder, edit the ini file, and build like you normally do. Once you are happy you'll need to copy the files back to the repo folder and then commit/push the new changes. If you get stuck dealing with git send me a PM and I can help. I recommend using a gui app like github desktop or vs code.

- put players back into vehicles when ejecting from dropship
- increase dropship turn thrust

Very cool. That was probably the hardest/largest package to work from. And yes we are dependent on the original, I started one way back that was going to be standalone but the class were all interdependent...

Nice! Provert was thoroughly confused last night when he got in the mino, the Dropship picked him up, and he was ejected without the mino later. I had to explain to them you were working on it. That's a big fix on that thing.

the dropship is from Halo. Its the Pelican. Can it be renamed to Pelican?
