I say it again that the solution to the endless minus/junk/dria spam is to not have those maps be playable for a couple days out of the week. There are plenty of other good maps that just don't get voted or barely lose to the minus/junk/dria map. The tuesday mappack is far too limiting though, as there aren't enough fun maps to make it worth playing on that night. All that needs to happen is have days where specifically minus/junk/dria aren't in the mappack and everything else is and it'll be fine.
With minus/junk/dria always being voted for, there is usually only 1-2 other maps that get played per night, and sitting through 3 hours of ass to get 1-2 good games just isn't worth it. I have other games I play in the meantime until anything else gets voted.

There's a whole list of maps updated more recently even randomized that don't get voted and are Randomizers.

I swear its more about people don't want to learn something new, and if they play something new our smart players figure it out quicker (Anon is really good at this) what and where to use what vehicle to advantage...
And many would rather have tank maps (eg. Minus-TMU (with just hammerheads), DJY) vs. full flyer loadouts. And maps with lots of spam (Minus-KS, HSH (any version)).
My original point was the RepeatLimit was there so that you don't get stuck playing same thing everynight, my goal was that any maps would likely be available every other day. However we do get some daytime players that cycle through.

I was talking about the during the day players. We used to have a few playesr who would get on early in the afternoon and cycle through just to make sure the "favs" were available... its kind of why we track 1 player matches actually.

Yeah, 7-8pm is what I was talking about, the early evening crew. They almost always chew through several of the popular Randomizer maps, so we’re really not playing those every night when the server is busiest.

That's why I play earlier now.. to play the good maps. We should organize the country so that tank lovers are on the east coast, and snipers are on the west coast.

Putting this here as a continuation from the HSHRandomizer thread talking about the minus/junk/dria spam, since this is a more relevant place to put it.
I'd be okay with just having AJY, FJY, Minus-Kitchensink and Dria-Randomizer. But fuck all the rest (maybe keep minus mega arena/badger since those are good maps while waiting for players to join). Too many nights have been something along the lines of Minus-Badger -> AJY -> Dria-Randomizer -> Minus-Kitchensink -> DJY -> Minus-TMU-Randomizer. If each game takes ~30 minutes, thats 3 hours of ass hoping the stains vote for literally anything else.
Here's an idea for the mappack rotation: Split all the minus/junk/dria maps into their own mappacks, with each pack containing only one of each. Then add all the other maps to them. Rotate the packs however you'd like, but the main goal with this is that on any given night, there is only 1 version of minus/junk/dria. That way you don't end up with playing only those 3 maps and their variants without getting to play much of anything else every single damn night. The stains shouldn't revolt since they still get their minus/junk/dria fill without hogging the entire map roster for the night.

I really liked the Tuesday mappack. It was great actually playing fun maps that weren't minus/junk/dria. We had a pretty solid player count too, so I don't think the stains cared that much that minus/junk/dria were gone. I noticed that Tek-Randomizer was missing from the list though.

I made a new list, put all maps in it, then removed the 5 or so popular maps - dria, junkyard, minus, torlan-linker, etc. If Tek-Randomizer was new since I made the list then it wouldn't be in it.

Yeah when there's a new map by name then we have to manually add it to the maplists. I generally try to add them when I upload.
