I think this discussion may have been lost on the old forums but would any of you be up for getting some UT2 weapons? Snarf you seem to be pretty hip to this kind of stuff. If any of you want to some night, we can hop over to the Monster Evolution server and I can load up a map with them to try. I think they'd be pretty cool on our server. They feel like they belong to the game unlike lots of other "new" weapons as UT2 was an official release.

I'd be most interested in the shotgun, hydra grenade launcher, and vulcan flamethrower:

I'd love if we could get the Benelli Shotgun on here, like the one from the RMD server. That's part of some old UT weapons pack.

Snarf.... if you want those weapons go to the server list for Assault gametype, go in the Death Warrant: Monster Evolution server and load the map called "Outpost"

There may be a large download, but the first spawn point is a platform with the shotgun, grenade launcher, and flamethrower. You don't even need to complete the mission.

I played the map. Then I ran cache extractor to get the files out, but I can't seem to get them to dump the source.

Failed loading package: Can't find file for package 'U2A'

I'm not sure the cache extractor did the right thing. If that doesn't work I can't really get the code out. Sorry

Thanks! That works. I dumped the script for that map successfully. Unfortunately there is nothing in it but a modified power node. All of the good stuff is in external packages that are not embedded in the map.

Next is figuring out which of the 44(!) external packages has the goods. I dumped a couple and so far it worked. Also, do I really need to dump them or do anything with them? It seems if we wanted them in a map, they could already be added.

What's the plan with these? I'm not sure what you guys want me to do If pooty wants to add them to a map I'm pretty sure he can already. Is there something that needs modded?

Do we know which ones we want? The Shotgun. There are some RMD specific ones, the RMD Minigun for one, which is way too OP. Not sure what mod file its in though?

I'm all about the Crowd Pleaser Shotgun (I assume different from the one enyo is mentioning), Hydra Grenade Launcher (I think this one will go over really well), and Vulcan Flamethrower

These are all the UT2 weapons from the server mentioned in the first post.
