Ifrit primary fire is absolute dogshit. There is no use case for that shit compared to its alt fire. Slow projectile, low damage, just why would you even use this? At least with the arbiter plasma shots, they can be fired alongside the rail and do decent damage. If the ifrit could fire both shots at the same time like the arbiter, it would be so much better. The ifrit isn't overpowered at all compared to the omega. You still need decent aim to land it on vehicles and very good aim and the ability to lead shots to dogfight with it. I usually never get in it because it dies to almost every other flier and does less sustained damage than almost every other flier. Give me an arbiter/falcon/starbolt/phoenix/bomber over it any day.

So ifrit primary got a bit of an upgrade...
And the alt-fire overkill corrected, I only nerfed it because it shouldn't do 1500+ that's way OP for a flyer... sure the bombers do that but you have time it right or get close vs. simple aim and fire.. its easy to hit tanks with ifirit....

Now I think it still more powerful than Omega, because of its way longer range... and pro tip, fire the primary once or twice, set it on fire then alt fire it. This will kill most tanks pretty quick (except mino). But like the Omega its not an air to air warrior. It is a tank killer/node killer though. Omega has wider area of effect and more damage, but Ifrit has range (and more health).

And yes Enyo all those tanks are much easier to find and gang up on a map. Much harder to find an agile one shot flyer. But we still have both Ifrit and Omega -- get a buddy as your wingman in Phoenix, Guppy, or similar to keep the flies off and you two could run the map.

Ok great, and agreed 1500 is too much. But you still haven’t acknowledged the primary fire sucks and needs changing. You’ve had 3 very good players tell you that now. Agree with Rhamp, there’s a dozen other flyers I’d rather have and will get in first.

And like Rhamp pointed out, it’s super stupid you have to wait for the same meter to recharge before you can fire either primary or alt. They should have their own timers like everything else.

With the arbiter weapon changes, I wish there was a flier that had the arbiter plasma primary fire without the rail. Maybe a bomber that has the arbiter primary fire and a guppy bomber bomb alt-fire. I've been wanting to make a map centered around dogfighting with a layout the stains can understand a bit better since Hyperblast seems too complicated for them. Dogfighting with hitscan is just plain boring though, as its just fliers camping at the fog limit sniping. The bombers are such a fun flier to use, but all of them have hitscan, which is why none of them are present on Hyperblast or Tek.

This is something I think the bombers in general should have instead of the hitscan lasers. There is no reason why the most mobile fliers with the biggest node-bursting damage should also have one of the best hitscan weapons. To compensate for them losing their hitscan, maybe their hp could be bumped up a bit. Their hitbox is massive compared to other fliers and they get swatted like flies. Nerfing their mobility or bombs would be dumb since that is what makes them unique from the other fliers.
