This is why I go play freon
And another guy at the bottom calling his team fucktards.

After playing Freon for a while now, I noticed the team compositions aren’t much different. 20% of the players have 80% of the frags, even some of the best DMers will walk right past their frozen teammates, and the bottom 20% won’t use their adren when it’s needed most.

It’s the general nature of group work, known as the Pareto Principle or the 80/20 rule. On OMNI it’s maybe more of the 1/3 rule… 1/3 are active, 1/3 do the minimum and 1/3 are mostly inactive.

Sometimes thawing is a trap, so you don't.

Freon is less of a team game. My team can fuck off and I still do fine. It's less annoying that way.

I get that... but it's still a team game. The teams that hunt together in packs tend to win, power in numbers. The ones that all split up on their own tend to lose.

The teamwork and communication generally seems to be much stronger on HoC than SoL. Main thing I don't like on HoC is thawing in the same spot you were frozen, just encourages even more camping.

Some will never learn this. Hell even having a compentent gunner in a power vehicle...can change the whole map. I had a gunner in the Mino and pretty much ran the map in it. Helix is another.

Or fly in a weak flyer as distraction for the Aurora or Dragon.. all about some kind of strategy vs. spam and shoot.

And nothing more frustrating than watching stains, take power flyers and dive bomb them repeatedly until the team runs out of good vehicles..

I remember on Nevermore when I flew the wraith and Anon was the gunner. Everything died.

The problem is that its a very risky gamble that usually doesn't pay off to put two good players in the same vehicle. So much stuff dies so fast that once the enemy realizes that they need to focus that vehicle down, it doesn't matter how good the players in it are. Its almost always better to have the two players pull two different vehicles to divide and conquer, even if they are weaker vehicles, since you'll have a bigger hp pool and more dps and mobility.

Another problem is that if a player who doesn't aim as good as you hops in the gunner seat, you'll be incentivized to tell them to get out since they are basically dead weight and actively worsening your ability to survive. Especially in fliers, I don't want a gunner spamming shots everywhere if I'm trying to sneak by to be ready to delete a node the moment it unlocks, or if the gunner has no eyes and can't see thing shooting me but I can, but can't swap to the gunner seat. By the time I can tell the gunner where to shoot, its too late due to the TTK being so fast.

What if the driver can force swap with a gunner? That way the more skilled driver can swap to the gunner seat to swat a flier while the less skilled player can take over driving, at least until the flier is dealt with. In vehicles with only 2 seats, the only way to swap seats is for a player to bail out, which isn't great when you are under fire. This would make it not a liability to carry gunners since you'll still be able to swap and laser a flier out of the sky, and you'll get the benefit of having a 2nd player without the downsides. Since the force swap can only be done by the driver, you wouldn't have issues where some stain jumps in your turret and steals the vehicle from you.

"What if the driver can force swap with a gunner?"

I've always said the vehicles need ejection seats to get rid of a bad gunner...

That was one of the funniest things I've heard. Enyo was talking in public so my team was laughing their asses off wondering who on Enyo's team is getting smoked that hard.

The next time you guys force me to play Nevermore and then proceed to spawn kill for 20 minutes and NOT ever try to get the primaries but heavily defend the secondaries, I am going to force GrendelKeep, BeerBattle, Goliath the rest of the night.

Do core damage or GTFO

I would delete it and keep Pooty's infinitely better version but you guys would throw a fit. Spamming the locked core with no vehicles - gameplay doesn't get better than this  That is nevermore
